The Triple Threat Academy (TTA) is a virtual cultural diplomacy program designed to provide professional development and opportunities for young artists across various regions.
As the title suggests, the program aims to train participants in three aspects of artist development: performance artistry, advocacy and entrepreneurship. TCP founder and director, Carla Canales, led this program since its initiation on March 23rd 2022 in partnership with various organizations and artists including the U.S. Department of State, Jakarta Performing Arts Community and Zheng Xiaoying Opera Center.
Among the many objectives of the program, one of the most challenging one was ‘expanding digital opportunities for cultural diplomacy in the post COVID-19 period”.
