NEW ALBUM CAMPAIGN

Did you know that March is Women’s History Month and it begins tomorrow?! One of our core values is to celebrate monthly observances, and we are excited to share our opportunities to celebrate Women’s History Month together.

As you may know, we are releasing the debut Hear Her Song album on March 26, 2021! This album is a way to thank our exceptional honorees and partners for leading exemplary journeys on the advancement for gender equality. Through their words and stories, we are able to create personalized songs for them, and in doing so, paving equitable opportunities for female composers and artists.

While this album is a celebration of women’s achievements, it is also a call-to-action to further progress the advancement of women’s rights through equitable representation and opportunities for all women around the world.

In observance of women’s history month 2021, join us in our fundraising goal of

$10,000

Our commitment to further challenge the progress for gender equality is by campaigning for future rounds of Hear Her Song dedicated to composers /honorees who are still underrepresented in the fight for gender equality. Learn more here.

During this Women’s History Month, we invite you to take action and join us in our efforts to progress gender equality for all women. You can help in 3 ways!

  1. Donate to our Campaign: It is our goal to raise $10,000 to fund our next round of HHS and a subsequent 2022 album. This includes commissioning composers, budget payment for new partnerships and production expenses. Help us with our mission!

  2. Nominate an Honoree: Is there a woman who you believe deserves to be an honoree/ Do you know a fantastic female composer? Nominate her! At the end of the month, we will randomly choose 2 nominated honorees to be included in the future round of Hear Her Song. Here are instructions:

    1. Follow us on Instagram

    2. Post a picture of your nominated female-identifying honoree or composer with an explanation of why she inspires you

    3. Must tag us in the post, and use #HearHerSong

    4. See our own nominee!

  3. Partner With Us: Are you someone who believes that the arts can be used to create social change? Do you work for an organization that you believe deserves more awareness? Let’s collaborate! Send an inquiry to be part of the HHS and TCP community.

Artist Advocacy/V-Pals Series: Mazz Swift
February is the annual observance of Black History Month, recognizing the central role African-Americans have played in U.S. History. This month, we are honored to share the wisdom and artistry of Mazz Swift:

"Understanding of the beauty, depth, breadths and power of African American culture and how we are all affected by it on a global level...that actually makes me feel more centered and more important to me as an artist" — Mazz Swift
