Two weeks until Hear Her Song!
Dear friends,
On October 14, we will be offering a special performance of "Hear Her Song", our project honoring great women with new, original songs by great women composers, at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in New York City. It will be a wonderful show and will feature some memorable songs, the stories of some remarkable women and performances with a collection of great musicians, some of the composers and myself. The show starts at 9:30 p.m.

The next step for us will be to record the best from among the over 50 songs created as part of this project as part of our partnerships with Vital Voices, the Foundation for the Support of the UN, the Malala Foundation, the National Gallery, the City of San José, and many others. We will tell you a little more about that project in the days to come, but nothing conveys the spirit and the impact of what we're doing like hearing the songs themselves.
The show will be a lot of fun, and will serve as our NYC debut. Hope you can join us!
