Hailing from southern Connecticut, twenty year-old Filipino-American Sophia Lanuza is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Growing up, she was heavily influenced by artists she and her father listened to, such as Billy Joel, and Rupert Holmes, as well as more modern artists like Eminem, Thirdstory, and Parachute, most notably due their musical styles and lyrical wit. When writing music today, she focuses on the content and rhythm of her lyrics, and enjoys writing music that has undertones of humor. Sophia is set to graduate from Berklee College of Music in May 2019, has just released her first song, Borrowed, available everywhere.
