Sofía Élan
Sofía Élan is a singer-songwriter, producer and arranger from León Guanajuato, México. She graduated with a double major in Contemporary Writing and Production y Professional Music from Berklee College of Music and a minor in psychology.
Sofía has been invited to play her music at different events: like the Latin American VIVE Music Festival 2019 (Boston), Ídolos Latinos 2020 (Boston) and collaborated in various projects like For Women of Oaxaca (Mexico Earthquake Support 2017), Casita Limón Youtube channel videos in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment US Latin, and this last April 2021 was invited with her original song “Yubarta” to Songs for Social Change showcase and Earthapalooza, environmental awareness event.
Sofía Élan´s project focuses on Spanish lyrics, Indie-pop music with some Latin folklore. Her music is inspired by Earth and possesses a spiritual connection with nature. As an incredibly emotional and existentialist human, Sofia tries to keep a big acoustic sound in her music — simple but intense. She wants to make her listeners’ heart beat as fast as her anxious one does, and for just one moment, make a connection.
Her two first singles Balance and Descalza, are now available on all the platforms, and this next summer, she will be presenting her whole Ep YUBARTA, five songs that sum the vulnerable and barefoot artist she is.
